If you change and conflicts arise – smile

Conflicts are an excellent form of feedback. They show that you don´t fulfill expectations of others (any more).

Often people step back from their chancing process because they sense that others are struggling on how to connect with them. It´s the fear of loosing connection that drives the conflict and the emotions.

Stay in contact without falling back into your skilled behavior. Frame your change process without having new answers. Show your vulnerability. That´s the new plattform you can meet at.

So maybe your relationship changes as well. Maybe not. But that´s part of change as well. Take the risk.
